Mr Weitzel takes part in regular appraisal and revalidation to ensure the best quality of care and compliance with the General Medical Council’s (GMC) guiding principles of Good Medical Practice. This includes audit and outcome reviews, data submission to national registries and patient satisfaction surveys.

 

Quality of Care Patient Satisfaction Survey 2013 and 2014

The 2013 and 2014 surveys of Mr Weitzel’s practice were commissioned by Mr Weitzel and conducted  by intepentent professionals.They show high rates of patient satisfaction (well over 90%) with the overall quality of care he provides, his administrative support and the clinic and hospital facilities he uses. National Joint Registry

The National Joint Registry (NJR) of England, Wales and Northern Ireland exists to define, improve and maintain the quality of care of individuals receiving hip, knee and ankle joint replacement surgery across the NHS and the independent healthcare sector.To further improve the success of this surgery, the Department of Health and the Welsh Government set up the National Joint Registry in 2002 to monitor the long-term effectiveness of implants and surgical technique

Mr Weitzel is registered with and submits all his hip and knee joint replacement data to the National Joint Registry and his profile can be viewed here.
